I believe that when you use Bluetooth the phone call still uses the aerial in the phone and if you spec the Phone Box and place your phone in it then it uses the more powerful aerial in the car.

Had a good look at the A3 cabriolet about a month ago in West London Audi. It was in their showroom but was able to put the roof up and down and generally have a good look over it. There wasn't one available to drive so we took a S3 Sportback out. We will be ordering the S3 Cabriolet.
