Hey guys,
I ordered my new A5 almost a month ago (it'll be a month on Saturday) and I've still not heard anything from the dealer about a build date/week.
I've emailed the salesman a fair bit, ranging from "extremely polite" to "quite miffed" but still nothing. He still says he's waiting on...
Lovely, thanks :)
I think that's exactly what mine will look like then.
To be honest the blue is darker than I thought it was. In my head I think it was a different blue that you can't get A5s in anymore that I was thinking of.
Still lovely though
anyone got any pictures of the A5 in Scuba blue?
Mine will be Scuba Blue when I get it so curious to admire some similar cars :)
Normally I'd have probably gone for Daytona grey too, but the A3 I'm coming from was Daytona Grey so fancy a little change.
3 weeks after ordering I've still not been given a build date for my A5.
Dealer initially said it'd be 1-2 months. I'm starting to think that was nonsense!
It was as I thought. They got in touch this week and said the repairs were more than the excess so that was all she had to pay.
The other half is still annoyed at herself but in reality it's not that bad.
£250 down the drain but her own insurance is unaffected which will be more beneficial long...
They called yesterday.
Firstly they apologised. To elaborate, the bump was so minor that my other half didn't even feel it happen. So was sat in the dealership unaware until the customer who's car she scratched came in going a bit mad.
So the delaership thought she was pulling a fast one and...
This was my logic too, so glad someone else agrees :)
The only thing I can think of is that the lady at the dealership said they'd cost up the repairs and if it was less than the excess they'd just charge my other half for the repairs instead of claiming on the insurance, and my OH misunderstood!
As far as I can tell it implies that costs are covered by insurance unless the car was being driven recklessly (which it wasn't, it was done while parking) or if she had lied in her declaration when she signed it (which she didn't).
If it wasn't for the fact she's adamant the lady at the...
Hi all.
My significant other is also an Audi owner (A1 S Line). She took her car in for a service yesterday so had a courtesy car for the day. When she was taking the courtesy car back, she bumped a customer's car in the car park of the dealership (Tamworth Audi).
Nothing catastrophic, just...
I'd have liked the Quattro too but budget restraints meant I couldn't really afford it without overstretching. Maybe next time. A5 is my favourite Audi by far so next time I change I won't want to move up a model. so moving up spec instead might work :)
Hi all.
I'm a newcomer to the A5 section. I joined the forum 3 years ago when I got my A3. Now I'm making the jump up to an A5.
So that's where I'm coming from. A 1.4 S Line A3 in Daytona Grey.
Absolutely loved the car, but when I bought that car I was really after an A5 but decided I couldn't...
Hi All,
long time no post!
Had my A3 for around 10 months now and still loving her.
I have a question about servicing for you lovely folk. You'll probably crucify me for asking a question that's been asked a million times but I've looked round the site and can't find an answer
My first...
Went through a very similar routine myself last week. First wash I'd given mine (and it's exactly the same car a syours, just the 3 door instead)
Hard work but worth it.
MIstake I made was not doing a thorough enough buffing the wax. Looked ok on the day but the day after you could see quite a...
Don't know if it's different in UK than Australia, but google play music is actually free if you're only using your own music. i.e. you upload everything to "the cloud" and stream it from any device for free.
You only need to subscribe if you want to stream music you don't own.
We'll have to get used to it because crossovers are very much on the up.
Personally I hate them. The BMW ones especially, really not a fan.
But like I said, the trend is upwards so we're only going to see more.
