So last Saturday was a sad day I had an offer for the audi £1800 I wouldn't of offered that and the audi got sold, I purchased an audi a6 the following day 2.7 bi turbo and the following following day on the way to work the electrics went all funny so the garage got an angry call and now I have...
Evening all I just purchased an a6 allroad 2.7 posted in that forum but nobody seems to post about engine stuff and performance, anyhow I'm wondering people's thoughts on turbo back exhausts it's all standard so far I'm looking for a hi flow manifold and then decat exhaust not sure wether to...
He told me he had the air suspension replaced for a new system in 2011 I havnt a clue how to work it proper yet or what it's meant to sound like it makes a few tapping noises sometimes when I set it to low at the end not sure if that's normal or not but I'm debating wether to fit low air ride to...
I wouldn't call it awesome Sandra it looks like a barge lol hopefully getting it colour coded or re sprayed some wheels and a remap it goes well though thanks
Afternoon folks just purchased my first a6 allroad swapped from an a3 1.8t fully stripped and modded so this is different for me I can't seem to find any stickies here on tuning and what to look out for and learning my way around the engine, also has anyone got a good mechanic that knows these...
Will do mate I measured it myself my stock one was 17mm I think and this one measured at 22.8mm to be precise so it's an improvement but as you said not an r32 one I'll have a butchers thanks mate, also been looking at the k6 ecu in the website coming up at 759 I think and 150 ish for the...
Ah fair enough it looks better abit lower plus mine has slight body roll and I don't like it lol, yeah I'll take one now by the looks of it he has put it upside down as it would fit over the dogbone but you tell me as you know what your looking for lol if you can see that is buddy,
There isn't essentially a best it's how you like your car to handle neutral abit of over steer, predictable,it all depends on your driving experiment I suppose but that's a good start from what I hear there are a few threads on here
I can turn it around and it can go under I'm sure the mechanic fitted it wrong he just wanted to follow how the old one went as I've looked and there is plenty of space for it I will change it around one day lol
The car sits really well with that spoiler may I ask are you using standard drop links obviously of a lcr or s3 as mine when sitting as low as yours scraped like mad with my r32 front arb so I had to have them shortened now it's fine but still can catch now and again and I'm sitting roughly 25...
I literally took the but out as I read this this morning as I wasn't thinking of problems it would cause lol, I'll keep it in the arch for now if I smell fuel I'll bring it back in or get a longer Hose and feed it to the bottom of the arch aiming under the car
Yeah left the solenoid in place and down the arch clipped to the side was only yesterday I blocked it off as previously was left open and down the arch still, doesn't seem to have done much
I've deleted mine it doesn't do many thing or didn't for me can't notice no fuel smell as it smells rich anyway lol if there was a way to block it off I've just put a nut in the pipe for now and hidden it in the side of the arch, pikey yes I am lol
When you go about standalone ecu nick can you set up some info as I too even though have wayyyyyy less knowledge want out of this ecu and I am not getting rid of the car so standalone route I'm going too but will all be fitted and bought from someone who knows what their doing I shall email bill...
