The S3 is just an A3 in fancy pants, the chassis is so easily upset and it's very easy to tie it into knots. If you want a quick car, you wouldn't choose the S3, it's cheap pretend AWD is a sham. You can't make a silk purse from a pigs ear.
Does the S4 have the option of the sports diff?
Do they both employ the same 4wd system?
How does the sports diff work and is it necessary for spirited road driving?
Regards
Hi, I know that the S4 can be mapped to perform as well as or even better than and RS4, but .... do they use the same 4WD system and sports electronic or other type of diff.
I owned one of the original UR Quattro (D141KNW) and it handled better than any car I have had since. I now have the A3...
I have no idea what the error code was. As regards the DTUK box, its well documented the problems that I experienced with it. I will say though that the dealership asked me if I had fitted a tuning box at any stage, they were suspicious because of the fault. Read in to that what you will.
There is no torque limiter on the DSG box, if you exceed the Torque limit your gearbox will go pop, simple as that. It's not a gearbox issue if it works one minute then doesn't the next.

There are a few people on this link who I'm sure would like their questions answered too

Reading the TUV above it would appear that 348 BHP is the maximum for TUV approval for the S3, this would make your current S3 box unapproved, from the DTE site only their...
But is the reading of 1.5 bar max what the ECU thinks is being requested or the actual reading? Think about it.
I'm pretty sure that DTUK have no idea what they are altering, what the original parameters are and what the finished parameters are. To say that they are writing maps is pure BS...
I'm still waiting on answers to my previous post. I'm not holding my breath though,
"As to TUV certified, am I right in my assumption that this certification only covers the actual box and not the parameters that you set/alter?
Further, you are altering fuel pressures and boost pressures...
For diesel fun it can only be the BMW 335D, for Petrol fun try the 335i, I had one previously and had it re-mapped to 365 BHP, amazing car.
I have had my 184 since the end of February, its not quick enough and i am now looking to change it asap. I moved from an XKR with 420bhp and just miss the...
Update, the judder that auroan mentioned in a previous post is what happened to my car, it was a serious judder and I immediately backed off, this is when I decided that the TDUK box wasn't for me. It was too much of a risk to continue using it. I then tried the TDI tuning box that whilst not...
Rob,
Thanks for your input, but .... We appear to be doing the testing for DTUK, I want to be able to purchase a product that's been tested to destruction before it's fitted on my £33,000 car. If you are altering parameters on fuelling and boost but don't know what pressure you are asking the...
