Hi All,
So today some ******** in a nice car pulled into the parking space beside me & parked over the white separating line, and knocked my car with his door twice as he struggled to get out.
I ventured out as he walked away just to check if there was any damage and he turned back to ask what...
Doh - sorry gents, what an idiot for giving you the run around. Car is 4 years old and this is the 2nd MOT.
The tyres are the first set on the car since new (but going on my previous posting you'll have your doubts if I can remember that detail), and still going strong after 27,500 miles -...
Car is 5 yrs old and today passed its 2nd MOT - shouldn't really be a concern on a car of this age, but when you have run around in a few old bangers in years gone by, the MOT day is always a worrying day !!
Anyway the tyres have done 27,500 miles and sill have 5mm on fronts and 6mm on rears...
The advice from Audi is that the originally installed software to my build may sporadically draw too much current from the battery hence the replacement - this will obviously only affect certain build weeks so don't stress all you with 7 speed dry crutches!
Hi, I've received a letter from my dealer advising that my A3 requires a service campaign - 37J3 for W-Software update of the Gearbox Control Unit. Anyone else received this request or any idea what it is.
My car is a 2014 1.4 Stronic
Many thanks for any clarification
I'll have to get HSE involved on this one and get the COSHH assessment for this type of material, in the old days I could have run my fingers through my hair to get this material called grease - nothing to run my fingers through anymore !
Dam it - I didn't know this was going to be even more complicated that first envisaged. OK so back to project plan for this one, looks like I'll have to be running even more bench testing and detailed analysis before final approval.
I'll keep you posted
Hi all - had the car since April 14 and wanted to set it apart from all the others, as soon as I get an opportunity I'll write up the stages of this mod ! :whistle2:
Before:
After:
I often open all the windows when the car is in my drive to let some air in, while I'm waiting for she who must be obeyed to change her shoes / handbag etc.
