There is a step by step guide I used on here somewhere, just need to look for it.
But basically the door card and the whole wing mirror has to come off
Guys,
Trawled through quite a few headlights bulb threads recently as my nearside bulb died. But thought I'd start my own to clear something up.
After looking at loads of recommendations I've decided to go for Philips D3S 35W X-treme vision 4800K Xenon. These retail at just over £100 each...
Managed to have a look at the MAF earlier and it looks pretty clean to me. Took the rest of the CAI off and that all looks clean too, doesn't look like there's been anything in it
Not until next week now. I refuse to take the car to Audi because they're useless and the garage I use is back to work on Monday.
Reckon it'll be ok to drive to work and back on low rev range?
Managed to have a look at the diverter valve. Tiny bit of oil in it but apart from that it's fine, pin is still in tact and there's no crack, holes or tears in it
Was driving around earlier on and come across yet another problem.
Pulled out to over take a car in 3rd gear, as the engine hit somewhere between 5-6rpm there was a pop sound and the car felt like I had slammed the brakes on.
Came off the throttle and eased it up to a roundabout. Had it in...
Bit strange, but I swapped my wheels over last night onto my standards... Wobble under braking has disappeared. Going to assume the BBS were unbalanced?
If you're going to dot it in with touch up paint, I'd suggest you let it dry, flatten it back a little with some 2500 grit sand paper and then polish it up. This is just so you don't end up with big blobs of paint all over the front end... Just a suggestion.
Yeah, I had a quick look before posting this. K sport use the same size disks as Forge, just wanted to know whether or not the disks were compatible with the calipers
Does anyone know much about this kit? Or have any experience running it?
Having had them fitted, they work... They definitely stop the car quite well. Only issue is, under light braking the pedal and wheel judders around quite a bit. Once I break heavily the juddering goes away and all is...
After finally finding the time to head back in and complain, I took several service technicians outside and neither could work out the seats.
Are these recaros really that hard to understand?
After arguing with them and telling them they're standard Audi seats and they work perfectly. I was...
Surely I can go back in through the week and point out to him that what he has put down is a load of tosh?
Can he then print a new certificate and remove the "tilt function" comment?
There is nothing wrong with the seats though. They do exactly what it is there supposed to do, I've never had any problems with them. The only thing I can think of is, he couldn't find the latch to tilt it forward. As my document states "Both front seats have no tilt function".
This is...
Just had the car MOT'd at an Audi dealership. And there's a couple of advisories... One of which I can't get my head around.
OEM Recaro bucket seat... Been in the car since Audi built it in Germany.
Apparently both front seats do not "tilt forward" ??
Everyone getting in my car has trouble...
Yeah, mine were changed on time at around 40k. Since then though, I've had the car mapped to stage 2. Only recently have I been seeing the stutter. If and when Audi actually decide to answer their phones I may be able to get it sorted... may take a while though.
