I was running AP coil overs quite low, with 10mm front and 13mm rear spacers, with VERY minimal rubbing from both front and back. I changed tyres on the rear and got a lot more rubbing. (Same tyre size. Just maybes a slightly wider sidewall) I've recently changed to damping adjustable coilovers...

Did any company ever get round to making an RS3 style grill for a pre 2008 S3? Last time I looked, there was much controversy over it.

I would imagine so. There's only a 5mm diameter difference, which is only 2.5mm more of the disc in the calliper. I' mpretty sure they work with both.

Because that's what the carrier brackets are designed to work with. They're 340mm, compared to the 345mm standard discs (either work) but seeing as I needed new discs anyway, and these are cheaper than the 345s, that's why.

I'm using a kit from AKS, comprising of TTS discs, calliper mounting brackets, and lines. These fit under my standard wheels with a 10mm spacer.

We did think that could have been a possibility, but it's been jacked up plenty times before without issue. That would only effect the alarm/immobiliser though. This is showing a brake fault (although it won't tell you what) and it won't let vagcom connect to the car for some reason.

We've just had my car jacked up, and changed the haldex controller to see if it would cure my intermittent 2wd/4wd fault. We've let the car back down, went to start it, and it won't even turn over. And it's flashing up on the screen with a brake problem. But It won't even connect to vagcom now...

Turns out a friend has a rear diff with haldex, spare from when his broke a couple of years ago. I can try both the pump and controller from that. Watch this space.
