I would be tempted to ring Miltek and ask them exactly what the difference is between the 3 door and the sport back models then you will know for sure if it is a possible cut and shut im sure you could find somewhere to get that sorted for you
Could be wrong so forgive me if i am in relation to your glove box the dampners used to be between £15-£20 if you can repair the hinge just replace the damper with a new one.
Yes they came with the RS3 discs as they are going on my S3 it was a case of the lesser of 2 evils replace the discs for TTRS ones or replace the wheel bearing and flange for RS3 ones. So went for the disc option!!
Just to clear this up the dealer is unable to reset any of the mileages on the car other than the ones the end user can. The only way to potentially adjust the mileage would be to replace the dash insert on average the cost of this would be £750 just for the part. A lot of money just to change a...
Really sorry to hear of your agro in relation to your car its no excuse but the dealer has to roadtest your car after PDI to ensure everything is right plus they would have had to fuel the car ready for you to collect. The tell tale sign would be the mileage on the clock but dont be to...
To be honest the parking was the biggest let down for me but i suppose thats the cost of the popularity of the show. 1st VW show ive been in about 10 years and im more used to shows like dub freeze at stafford county show ground.
You could get a good fabricator to cut the tips of your current one and extend the tailpipes a couple of inches as i believe that is the only difference but just check first. You dont want to be shelling out another £400 for a new miltek do you?
So after going to Ultimate dubs yesterday (1st VW type show in about 10 years) i decided to get my **** in gear and start looking at my RS brake upgrade. I fitted am running on the standard S3 wheels (not Black edition rotors) and offered up the callipers the other week as expected i needed 10mm...
Its difficult to say it will be completely down the discretion of the dealer in this instance the only area of concern would be if the pealing has originated from a stone chip possibly but the best thing to do is have a conversation with your salesman and see what they are willing to do.
they wont be able to cover it under your used car warranty as there is no mechanical component failure. Your paint work warranty only covers you for 3 years from date of registration however i would imagine that the dealer would try and help you out somehow with the situation as you have only...
Hi so after buying my Brilliant red S3 at the beginning of February and deciding that it was more than quick enough and just the usual stainless exhaust and cosmetic mods being required! Now since then the exhaust has been fitted (cat back only) RS3 brake set on one side ready to be painted...
Hi i am thinking about selling a set of RS3 brake calipers i had got for a conversion i was going to do and was wondering if anyone was interested? I appreciate i might have put this in completely the wrong place on here but i am just dipping my toe as they say as to what interest there may be.
Ta!
Hi looking at it the residue on the hose is probably from when the cooler was replaced and not cleaned off i agree that it may be slightly over tight but if the leak was from here the the coolant would be wet if that makes sense as its on the return side of the EGR cooler which is the hotter...
Hi just a question had my S3 2 weeks now and decided to invest in a Miltek cat back exhaust big box delivered today big smiles had it fitted at work but rather then being a cat back i imagined this would literally be butted up to the cat almost the new sections start just around the rear set...
