ok cheers for the replies. changing wheels isnt an option at the moment so it will have to stay as it is for a while.

I have 245 wide wheels with a 1/2 in spacer on them (previous owner put them on the car) which rub slightly in the arches when i hit bumps with passengers in the rear of the car. I cant remove the spacers as the front wheels wont fit without them. Im just wondering if fitting stiffer springs...

Im glad to see the back of them. They caused a lot of noise on motorway runs and they didnt do anything to enhance the look of the car.

They're gone. Snapped a bit off during removal so they're in the bin. Apparently they were only about 30 quid anyway... Hey ho...

Cheers Arnie013. Ill be putting them on eBay probably as im none too keen. Ill pop them off and and see if i like the change. If i do then theyre up for sale.

Does anyone know how to remove these things (I don't know what they are called) from the front driver and passenger windows? Also has whoever fitted them had to remove a seal to put them in? Just wondering if there will be a gap if i remove them... Any help greatly appreciated Cheers Jay

I suppose that could be an option. I have seen a thread on here where some one has covered theirs with a black tape but they said they werent happy with the finish. Ive heard a rumour that they can be bought in black. Have any users here changed theirs to black that you know of?

The chrome trim around the windows and above the rear bumper could do with replacing and i need a new central armrest in the front. few light scratches that i need to sort out also.
