Mine is the same spec as yours and is going in in a couple of weeks for the piston replacement. I average around 24 day to day and can get 30/31mpg on a motorway run. Never seen anything close to 40mpg!

Well I have returned the car to Audi this morning after completing the 1000km oil consumption trial. The oil level has dropped on the computer from full to just below 1/4 I would estimate in the 600miles. Just have to wait and see what Audi say now. At this rate I will have totally changed...
