So trying to decided between RS4 injectors or the new RS3 8V injectors.
I'm leaning towards RS4 since I can pick up a set for £280 compared to the RS3 8V at £500 but not sure how to modify the loom to suit the RS4 injectors. Can you buy modified looms from somewhere or anyone have any info on...
Im using your dealer in or near Northumberland so as long as you think the above is a good balance then im all set haha. May PM you about something ive seen but not sure if you've ever experimented with mapping wise
I may look into brakes but tbh I won't track the car and with switchable maps will be running lower power going to and from work 90% of the time. Mainly just 1/4 mile the brakes will have a "hard time" so to speak.
Yea I'm not going to the extent of Liam with his 530bhp S3 that's for sure...

Hardware needed:
Runner Flap Delete (Ordered)
LPFP In tank A35HV (Ordered) Possibly change to TSI Basket to make it fit
RS4 Return Fuel Valve (Ordered)
RS3 Injectors
TTE420
I'm aware just chaging the LPFP can have issues on hard cornering...
RS3 Injectors? Haven't heard much info on them tbh. I'll message him as he's the tuner I want to use. Need to see if he can still map my engine even tho I have APR gearbox map on it
Looking into injectors for when I upgrade to the TTE420 Turbo and wondered what people recommended. Most I've seen either just use the standard ones to their limit, RS4 or APR's Upgraded one's.

What I'm asking is can I have a separate maps for both dsg and engine but from different companies. For instance if I was to install APR software on Engine but Revo software on gearbox
Just wondering if anyone has a different gearbox map to their engine map or know if this is possible?
Currently running APR engine and gearbox maps but wanting to switch to custom engine map and wondered if it would be alright since it's obviously running on a seperate ECU
Literally changed my oil last week and did my cam follower, new spark plugs and new coil pack all this week so everything is technically fresh so to speak. Oil I used was quantum 5w40 as the car is mapped for stage 2+ and 5w30 or 5w40 was the recommended oil to use
Best heard at 0:26 and 0:49 and 1:04
It just doesn't sound right to me. Just used to the engine noise and feel this isn't a normal one. Understand the enigne is tappy/ticky and not referring to that noise but the other background like mechanical heavier clunky-ish noise. Suspect the cam chain...
That's what I mean haha. We mainly just have APR or Revo dealers in Scotland and a few custom tuners but don't specialize in VAG cars or aimed at the more business related Economical maps.
May be in by at some point to change from APR software to Custom as I will be installing water meth...
No MOT's not due till end of next month so will get them on after that.

I'm loving it so far but want more haha. Managed to source discharge and charge pipes, got a intercooler hopefully lined up and cat-back exhaust. Possibly looking into WMI kit & RFD. Seeing how much I get get out of this K04 turbo even if it breaks, sort of hope it does since then it's a good...
Ah okay doke, that's a relief then. May get it mapped at a later date as I'll be getting the runner flap delete and intercooler fitted along with WMI so may be worth while mapping it all in but via a custom map so I can run with and without the WMI kit. Think the same sort of method your using...
Problem is will it run without the car being mapped for it? I'm currently running APR software which usually the smallest change I'm charged out the *** for haha. Tempted to switch to custom software as a reputable tuner has moved a lot closer to Scotland. That's ideal then about the boost tap...
Ah okay, had a look into them and go be a viable option. I'd just need to run a, I guess an ignition / on/off switch for it so I can turn it off and on when needed rather than run it full time. Good idea for helping reduce the carbon too I'd imagine.
