evening. checked the relays this morning and cant see anything obvious inside them thats gone faulty. do you know which one is for the ecu power supply? next job is to check the wires down from the relay. how do i remove the fuse box? is it the small torx screws or the big one in the middle...

so does the problem sound like its just a power supply fault thats gone? im a truck mechanic by trade so audis arent my strong point. i will check the relay out tomorow and report back. cheers hollow Rich

great stuff i will check tomoro. is it a sealed unit or can it be taken apart. how would i bridge the relay out to check it? could i check for continuity across the pins? cheers Rich
