Thats a local indy, the car has been pretty much been serviced + MOT there all its life. I have a mate who's services his 520d himself and has offered to service mine in exchange for some beer tokens. But come resale time i will probably lose out. I guess thats a reasonable price.
It's the time we all dread, service and MOT. Just been quoted £282.65 for a full service and MOT for my 2.0 tdi. Does that seem a bit steep? I do get a courtesy car and trust the garage to do a good job. I know I could get cheaper but not being mechanically minded I'm worried I could get ripped...
You don't need anything special for the RNSE. Audi still use the standard battery from factory regardless of what ICE you have. A £50 battery from euro car parts will be more than sufficent. It's comes with a 3 year warranty too.

The climate control would be very expensive to retrofit, not worth the hassle. Converting the front lights to bright DRL is achievable. Retrofitters such as ash187 and NHN can offer you assistance in this area if you're not confident fitting it yourself. Pretty much every upgrade is do-able...
Im no audio expert but i believe you cant convert it . The options you'd have would be to buy a cheap ipod and permanently have it in there, but be aware it doesn't charge the ipod. Or you can buy an adaptor that would allow you the unit to function for AUX. Im sure a quick search on the forum...
