    Is your egr blanked out. If not try this first, as I had horrendous hassle with my 2.0 TDI. Had the turbo out. only usual muck in it jamming up the gate / flaps. Nothing else loose or worn, put it back in no better. Blanked out the egr with a home made plate at the intake end. Running well now...
