try a decent quality active adaptor. look on www.incartec.com. I've fitted those with no issues

its nothing to do with the front speakers. it will most likely be the active adaptor that you have used to keep the active rear end still working. I have sen it a lot on a3's. what make did you use?

The alpine is now newer and lot more up to date. The x702 for Audi is out with Apple car play and android auto.

only option is the alpine mentioned above, good kit I have fitted a fair few, make sure check spec tho. only fits certain cars with certain original radios

this is the rear speaker interface for the active rear speakers. without it the rears won't work at all

whats your budget? buy the best that fits your budget. make sure you install some dynamat in there at same time, makes huge difference. you can get loads in the door of a b b6/b7

just bough Mrs a scuba blue 2015 A3 sline ands lovely. Great spec. However the dab reception isn’t great. Keeps cutting in and out. Any suggestions? Software update?

read my post in other section you metioned. MOST definately be an issue with the coax cable in the boot grommet. done loas of them now. its common fault due to bad design. can be fixed with a a decent soldering iron and bit of patience in 30 mins.

i will bet money on the fact its nit the radio or the module. it will most likely be the coax cable going through the boot grommet is broken/breaking. I have now repaired a dozen of these. Some customers have bought the whole new cable that goes front to back and some I have just foxed the...
