Hi, I seem to remember seeing some sort of upgrade process where you can trade in your old cable towards the cost of a new cable. Is this something we can do in the UK as well? Cheers Mick

Had the same issue on mine a few weeks back and was covered under warranty. It was a broken wire and audi replaced harness in drivers door i believe, also worth checking if your door actually locks as well, mine didnt!

Well, my A3 2.0 TDI 170 Quattro got written off just over a month ago by another Audi driver, totally his fault, was gutted at the time as it was a great car, but now I am the proud owner of a sprint blue S3 :) Really happy with it so far, its a 2010 black edition and has 45k on it, so not bad...

If my windows are open when I get out the car I can press and hold the lock button on remote and windows and sunroof will close, basically hold the button until they close

I would definitely use copper grease, I had to cut a few of mine off with a dremel a while back because of them seizing on

Not off the top of my head, currently in work. Just google Samsung SRN-472S. You can get cheap units off ebay as well, something like avtech would do the job

Yeah, I have a Samsung unit, works great and can access it from my phone when im not home :) The newer Power over Ethernet units are better if you want less wiring, or you can go wireless now, but not sure how reliable these are
