Just put together new wing mirror arms and S3 caps, but I forgot to connect the indicator plug inside the mirror and now I need to take the cap off again. This now seems almost impossible to take apart and I don't want to brake them :-/ Does anyone have a how to guide on how to take the cap...

Changing the whole mirror units over on my A3 and replacing with latest slimline version. Does anyone have a 'how to guide' on taking these assemblies apart and detaching from the car and putting them back on the car? Pretty much a dummy manual please :unsure: Cheeeeeeers!!

So I'm changing out my minging creme headlining for a nice stealthy black one. So thats all fine and good and got all the extra bits and stuff. Just come to notice that the rear view mirror is also creme!! Anyone got a suggestion on this, can I somehow make it black or will I just need to lump...

That would be absolutely brilliant if you could please mate. I've got all the parts now and headlining just need to do the conversion and loose the minting cream (puke!!)

Really daft question here!! :sos: Does the windscreen have to come out to change the roof liner? I've just collected a black one to swap out for a the beige one (yuk!) but when I tried to take it in through the boot I just couldn't see how without bending it and potentially breaking. Also...

I have a whole brand new roof lining, so its just a swap job for me, but have no clue how to swap it out. Like I can't find a guide anywhere :-/

Has anyone got a guide on how to refit the A3 8P Just bought a black roof liner, changing out the horrible cream one but can't seem to find any how too guides. More importantly I hope it goes in through the boot and not the screen? Any help, advice or pointers? Cheers

I wonder if it makes any difference that its a S3 cluster in an A3, thats what they're claiming the problem is and that with the new A3 cluster no errors are coming up! Im baffled really

This would make sense as this is the areas that are causing the issues, saying its the ABS, traction control and brake system flashing up on the dash now. Excuse my ignorance but I don't actually know what vcds is....

Well, it had an S3 cluster in it already and it went defective. So went and bought another S3 cluster, little did I know they were hugely different (massive rookie error I know) Whoever fitted the S3 cluster before had modified it inside the unit to work.

Ive basically got a brand new S3 dash that was attempted fitted to an A3, but obviously doesn't work, dual tanks, 4WD etc. So I've had to buy another standard dash. Now I have a brand new S3 8P dash that I don't know what to do with?? It wasn't as if it was cheap either at £514 Any suggestions...

Considering getting some of these as I think they look pretty cool. Can anyone advise a company to get them from that are legal etc? Cheers

So I need to purchase some new S3 mirror caps 2010-2012, after the brushed aluminium silver ones. But I don't want to land myself buying some cheap shoddy ones off of eBay, on the flip side I don't wanna be fleeced by Audi haha =D Any help or advise would be much appreciated :huh:
