So in my position(fault codes p1018 & p3135 showing when I read them but no eml light ever) would your advise be to just leave them as is or to go and attempt to fit swirl flap repair kit? or something completely different? All advise much appreciated? Cheers

Sorry excuse my ignorance here but what does it mean to have "the fault mapped out"? Is this just masking the issue or fixing it? The reason I ask is that I have just bought a 3.0tdi quattro and it has the fault codes for both sets of swirlflaps but no eml light has come on and the car runs...
