Hi all, I've had a mechanic tell me my DMF needs replacing soon.
I've been doing some searching, and come across a recall for the flywheel via Audi.
the service book sees no work to the flywheel done before...
Hi All - quick update.
First of all, I tried Revive (Home) and it didn't work. Okay, it's cleaned out the engine, but I'm down £100...
Anyway, when doing the Revive, the mechanic noticed the a gauge/switch was set to full power (from what I can remember) on the turbo and had corroded there. On...
sorry about my previous post, mates at work thought it was a laugh!
So, my plans are...
A. Clean the EGR (can a garage do this or is it simple to follow some of the youtube videos I've seen)
B. See if that effects the turbo problem (I don't think it will) if not,
C. I may try the Mr Muscle...
Car is in Cornwall. Do you think, looking at the 2 fault codes, that if I fixed the first, the turbo would be okay again? Or are they unrelated for sure? Steve

Ok, thanks. Southylad, how much did that cost you? So the options are:
1. buy a new one
2. get the old one refurbed
3. buy a refurbed one (and trade in my old one)
Thanks
The car is based in Cornwall - probably not the best place to find a turbo company! With the fault cods listed and what I've said, do you all think it's deffo a new turbo job? I don't mind paying it, just don't want to buy one and then find out it's not the turbo haha!
I've put my reg in on Eurocarparts, and it comes up with 2 different options, with different part numbers:
Turbos | Great choice of Car Turbochargers | Car Turbos

and
