Everything else works, the computer display pixels aren't perfect but not bad.
I've bought a super vag just waiting for it to arrive hopefully that will allow me to reset the oil service :)
Hi I have a 99 s4. The odometer reset button (right hand side stalk/button) doesn't seem to work I can not reset the miles or reset the the oil serice message.
Has this happened to anyone else?
Is there a fix for this ?
Any help much appreciated.
Thank you
I can understand where your coming from but the cheaper pads are fine for the use that my a4 gets on the road. I admit the eicher pads straight away don't have a good a bite as what was in before but they are adequate.
Fitted them this afternoon turned out I needed discs as well so fitted new discs at the same time.
Changing the pads was dead easy nothing out of the ordinary.
Ive just gone for the Eicher ones from ECP. It worked out the same price as carparts4less after I used some voucher code so I can pick them up tonight and fit.
Thanks Karl that's great help I'll check out carparts4less now and see what's what.
Paul, I'm not sure if there was a squeak before the light was on but there is defiantly a squeak now though must be the wear indicators. There's still a load of pad left I could probably drive at least another...
Hi brake pad warning light is on my 2010 a4 2.0 tdi so looks like I need new front pads but looking in the euro car parts website it seems there are a couple of options depending on what caliper?
Either Lucas or teves?
I can't see anything written on the caliper
If anyone knows which...
I don't know mate It was previous owner but I've got the paperwork.
I find they judder mostly when it's wet or cold. I find if I pull away from a handbrake stop rather than a foot brake stop it helps as you can pull away less suddenly and slip the clutch a little bit.
My 2010 car has the flywheel judder again and it's only had new clutch and flywheel fitted at audi 18 months ago!
I'm just trying to preserve mine as best as I can pulling away slowing when it's cold seems to help.
Yes I have the pilot super sports on my sline in 255/35/19 and honestly they are the best road tyre I've ever tried. They transform the handling it just grips and grips now even being on a heavy diesel. Wet performance is amazing to.
Thanks mate I thought it might be the light seals.
Mine has the led lights already on and I can't imagine the water doing them any good. I'll see if I can silicone the seals or if not then might have to buy new light seals :-(
Every time I open the boot I get water pouring out from behind the lights it runs out of those flaps you open to access the bulbs. Any ideas where it's getting in?
Cheers.
Mine doesn't have a key or spanner button. I think that is just for b7 audis mate. Ne idea which section to put it mate a boss can move it or whatever.
