Having enjoyed my Sportback 2.0T for just over 2 years I've decided that I need a change, and have been thinking about the S3.
Does anyone have an opinion on whether I'm going to get a lot of extra grin-factor by going to the S3 and is it worth the money. I'm looking entirely for fun, not...
I don't think we're necessarily talking about being able to bounce the rev limiter all the time, but there is absolutley nothing worse to unbalance a car when you're close to flat out in a corner for it to change up a gear when you're not expecting it.
The same goes for when you are blasting...
I'm still waiting for my 2.0 TFSI but here in Australia it only comes with DSG, manual wasn't an option.
I'm now slightly worried by this flaw with the DSG as my driving style around the tight windy roads is based on approaching a corner with high revs to assist with breaking and control so...
have you considered either of:
Michelin Pilot Sport II, or
Yokohama AVS Sport V102
They both get very good reports and I'm looking at these two for my replacement tyre. Keen to receive any comments.

What really hurst is hearing you guys having to wait only a matter of weeks for your cars.
I ordered mine on 25th January and it doesn't arrive here in Sydney, Australia until the the end of May - that's 17-18 weeks!!!
At least I get to keep driving my RenaultSport Clio 172 until then...
Thanks Coldsteel, I think that will help me out although reading the Dension website it says that the ice>link replaces the CD changer.
Can anyone tell me if the Symphony II is an in-dash stacker or external stacker? I don't really want to replace my CD changer with my iPod as the quality...

can anyone tell me whether there is a line input socket on the Symphony II BOSE system to connect an iPod or I'm I stuck still using iTrip?
