To be honest I did think that it might be the left side but I don't remember the bulb being so blue! Why do they change colour when they are on their way out? Where did you get your bulb from and do you have a link I could use?

So got into my car tonight, turned the ingnition on, started the car (with the headlight switch on auto) and a error message appears on the computer "right dipped head light" I notice that the left Xeon is a normal colour and the right is a bright blue. I'm taking it that the bulb has gone on...

Yes the chrome covers are the S and RS signature. My opinion the aftermarket ones are a bit naff! Get genuine if you can. Search eBay for genuine s3 8p wing mirrors

Hi, it took me about 3 months to find genuine S3 wing mirror covers as mine were stolen! (ba~tards) I fitted the covers myself, pretty easy really, just unscrew the 2 small screws on the bottom of the wing mirror and remove the glass and remove 3 screws that hold the housing to the cover and...

Good news!!!! It's fixed!!!! Turns out it was a faulty crankshaft sensor. Thanks for all your help appreciated it

Yeah all parts are from TPS. I have instructed them to replace the crankshaft sensor Monday.
