No, I don't have any coolant loss. I have just removed, cleaned and re-seated the connector, I'll see if the fault reappears... Fingers crossed they just disturbed the connector when they did the gearbox oil recently...

Actually I'm quite pleased to hear that someone else is having problems with the S-Tronic and it's not just me!... My car is at about 1500 miles and the choice of gear by the gearbox is rubbish. It either changes up too early or too late and very rarely seems to be in the gear I want it to be...

No, sorry, no reversing camera here, just basic rear parking sensors. However there is no visual display of the sensors and no way to enable it in the MMI. I see from the VCDS pages that is it available on the car. Even our Skoda shows a display of the distance to an object when reversing.

Thanks, I realise you can close it but it would be nice for it to remember if you closed it and not open it again the next time you started the car instead of making you close it every time.

Access MMI engineering menu -------------------- The engineering menu can be accessed with the following combination: Back button + Navigation button 1 (top left). I couldn't get this to work on my S3... Anybody else tried it?

I'd have asked them for the full set of AMI cables, not just the ones they "thought" I might want. I'd also have asked them to switch on the visual display of the reverse parking sensors & the acoustic lock menu. They are refusing to do it now!

I've not managed to take any yet... it will look the same as most of the others with the only exception, I don't have the roof rails.

Yeah, feels great. Not driven her much yet and am still getting to grips with the drive select but don't want to push it too hard until it has bedded in a bit. It's my first Stronic so am still reaching for the gearstick at times!
