I think it's best to go by gearbox code, I can't seem to establish what cars at what years have which linkage type. Both passat and bora seam to share my linkage type to a degree. How do I check my gearbox code? Where's the ID tag?

I've seen a stupid amount of Vibration caused by worn Bogbone and gearbox mounts on both Skoda Octavia and Golf MK4. So much that the Octavia Diesel would touch against the Bulkhead. Then again I stiffened the Mounts on my A3 and That causes a lot of vibration too.. can't win
