Yeah I got a good look at the sensor thanks mate! Clamped it all back together they move a bit now, will probably buy a new sensor soon enough but and get access to someone with VCDS. they are working decent enough for the short term!
I got chance to get under the car and the metal part of the sensor was hanging free and the rubber or plastic part that's on the bottom bracket was by itself so I forced them back together and in the correct direction! The lights do level them selfs a tiny bit I think but I haven't got access to...
If I adjust the beam level and set it right will it stay in this position or reset itself? Also I have read that you can bottom out the adjust or screw for the motor to give it no movement or something?
Cheers.
The car was originally with the xenons! The car came with a some receipts of work done to it I haven't been sold a bad car or anything if anything id like to credit the previous owners for looking after it and spending money on it! When the coilovers are fitted it sends the auto levellers loopy...
I've had a search around the forum finding loads of mixed answers but...
I'm wondering if anyone can help me! I have coilovers fitted to my S3 and the xenon lights are just pointing straight down to the floor! I can't see a thing infront of me when there is no street lights, and using the full...

Just read your comment after I replied Darren! That's alright then I might do it that way without disconnecting battery! Save the light coming on and save me disconnecting battery and everything resetting!
Cheers pal. What will i need to reset the airbag light when it's back on VCSD whatever it's called? And what happens when I disconnect battery on my car Audi 8p2? Do I have to put a code in for the radio or anything? I haven't got a clue haha
I am getting my seat repaired in the morning as it is ripped and I need to remove the whole seat from the car....
I know how to remove the seat and have the right tools for it but I am wondering what to do regarding the airbag?
do I have to disconnect the battery before I remove the airbag...
Well I replaced the part today, just used two normal hose jubilee clips, took 10 minutes max to the full thing and the idle is sorted out, I suspect the codes shouldn't return! I don't know if it's in my head... But it's much smoother to drive and gear changes, it also feels a little more...
Sorted the part number out and it seems to be dirt cheap to buy going to order it up tomorrow and fit it, I'll be back to let you know if it sorts the problem when I've fitted it.

Today my car threw up a EML and when I scanned it it was a P0170 code - running Lean. When it's sitting idling about every 30 secondsish it drops revs and revives itself back to normal revs in a quick second! I have a video to show this but don't...
