It was an Audi, it was red, had tinted windows, looked cool and I could just afford it. Oh, and I could fit my Trek in the back.

Just to clarify, the problem with starting when warm/hot always resolves itself in the same way. On the third turn of the key the engine will fire, run lumpy for a 2-3 seconds then settles down.
