Fixed the issue it was the temp gauge that goes into the manifold it had come out

If it was the cat would it increase sound as the revs go up? Been having a good listen today and it sounds like there a hole in manifold but I dno think ill take it to a garage it drives spot on and hasn't lost any power or anything

Took the inlet off and looked at the wheel at felt it it's spinning fine with little or no play

Mine sometimes goes off often and I figured out what it was, It was the passenger door handle been slightly lifted, hope this might help
