Hi all
Been awhile since I last posted.
Like other's, we got the stop engine, check coolant level message this morning. Car is approximately 14 months old with 13,000 miles. Found the level in the expansion tank to be very low but not yet empty.
Car is booked into the dealer for tomorrow and...
To the OP
Bear in mind the longer wheelbase on the SB 'softens' the suspension somewhat (compared to the 3 door). What most journalist don't advise is whether they're referring to the 3 or 5 door.
I think you'll be okay with the sport suspension.

Better to be safe than sorry.
I insisted on the insurer recording our extras. For those with Gap insurance you may want to check your policies as ours states factory fitted options need to be declared to the insurer.

I've found a slight offset on ours. This in itself is not too bad. What I do find uncomfortable is the fact that the pedals are stepped. The accelerator pedal is set low with the break pedal about an inch higher. The clutch is an inch higher than the break pedal. As this is our first Audi I'm...
Had ours for a few weeks now. These were pics taken a couple do days after collection.
Apologies in advance for quality as they're taken on iphone

Couldn't agree more! I personally think Audi are missing a trick here. I would have foregone a couple of options or stretched my budget to have a quattro in manual. Oh well.

i think the saloon is slightly bigger than the hatchback and with 18" wheels it will feel differently to the hatchback as well. I couldn't fault the sports suspension on the hatchback and wanted the s line suspension more for aesthetic looks and handling but not at the expense of it being bone...
A friend of mine was also given the runaround with delivery dates. He ordered his A3 back in February and eventually received car in September. He was however able to use the delayed delivery time to negotiate a considerable discount on leather interior and alloys and has said the car was worth...
Quick update
Been out in an A3 with s line suspension today. Found the ride firmer than most cars I've driven lately. On a smooth surface it's not bad and almost un-noticeable; speed bumps however will need to be treated with care. On slightly bumpy roads the ride is firm but not jiggly and the...
Thanks for the response.
Most comments/discussions I came across were comparing to previously owned Audis, none of which I have first hand experience of. Yes I did drive the sports suspension and in comparison to the Civic Type R I have at the moment the sports was more comfortable. I'm...
Hi all
I've placed an order for an A3 SB s-line with the s-line suspension.
On reading all the reviews most journos are recommending avoiding the s-line suspension.
Those of you who have the s-line suspension is it really as bad as made out? What car would you compare the suspension with?
