mines kind of doing the same, seems to be taking longer to warm up than it should.Its gets up to 90 then if sitting in traffic it will go down slightly. But on motorway gets up to 90 and stays there. I have had 3 mk4 golfs, with same prob and it was the temp sensor every time.

Just thought i'd share because i was quite impressed, went down to cornwall last week and on the way home i filled my a4 s.line avant 2.0 TDi to the top. Got me home on half a tank, (cornwall to carlisle 430miles, approx) :thumbsup:

i would like to replace my bulbs, head lights, side lights ect. i see alot of cars with more of a white look to them, could anyone recommend anything. Rather than the ones with the yellow look. Thanks

maybe shouldnt of admitted that lol. i prefer the chrome round the windows just a pity it goes discoloured. i think i just want black for keeping them clean.

your car looks amazing , i look at it everyday lol. iv got the same colour car but mines the avant. I dont really want to lower it, iv got 19s on mine at the min and fill the arches really well. i want the same wheels as you, but quite fancy them in black.

cheers i wasn ever sure if they were road legal. someone on my estate has german plates on an r32 and has done or about four years, looks good but known my luck id be pulled.

one thing he did say is he had the same problem on another a4, but it was to late and the engine went bang, so im sure he will be fitting the best part possible.

when you look at it like that lol. Dont really understand cars that way, quick discussion with the lad before and i sure he said a chain was getting fitted, but everything comes in a pack. That probably doesnt make much sense but as soon as i get the car back il let you know what has been done.

not getting car back until friday, they are using the modified part, so should be good when i get it back. The loan car gets worse though, a vauxhall meriva :ohmy:

your telling me mate, its so tinny to drive, even stupid little things like the sound of the doors shutting, just sounds so cheap. Its good that they wouldnt let me take the car away just incase something bad was to happen, (well in away):ermm:

To cut a long story short, my air bag light came on, so i took it back to garage where i got it from. I happened to mention it was making a whiring noise (for the record i dont no a thing about cars) i thought it might just be a bearing. After further investagation they told me it was the oil...
