    Its a proper apple one. Didn't think about using the normal USB to lightning, with the USB Mmi cable. I will try and report back.

    Just picked up my lovely A3 Sportback, which arrived 2 weeks earlier than expected! :) :) Ive tried the 30pin to lightning block adaptor (which I bought especially), but that doesn't seem to work - keeps disconnecting the music content through to the MMI every half second, and reconnecting...
