    Is the sportback unbalanced?

That sounds costly. I think I will just continue measuring the arch heights on a flat surface with a ruler and try to even them out.

Good point.. The near side front does seem to be the highest.

    Is the sportback unbalanced?

I fitted some coilovers a month ago and have adjusted them after a settle in period. To try and produce an even gap between each side the coilovers are nothing like each other's adjustment with the front being 20mm different. Is is one side of the car heavier?

Trying to order service parts for my 2005 2.0 tdi and I've been given the option of two different sizes of oil filters. 70mm o/d and a 65mm o/d. I don't have access to my car today to strip and check, does anyone know which size I need please? thanks

Dunlop Sport Maxx RTs 225/40/R18 - Start The Clock

I run these. Excellent tyres. Quiet and grippy, but they wear pretty quick. I would buy another set that's for sure.

SOMEONE HELP! NEED COILOVERS FITTING! £££££

I fitted Prosport coilovers from DPM on here. 5 year warranty and pretty cheap too. Ride quality is very good, not hard but firm...like a new car firm. My car is 9 years old so I think I would of felt the benefit of any new suspension. However, I cannot fault the Prosport if you are looking...

SOMEONE HELP! NEED COILOVERS FITTING! £££££

£250 is a good price! I fitted coilovers myself and it took me 8 hours for the front (including driving to and from tool shop, car parts shop) and about and hour for the rears. £250 for a proper fitting is well worth it in my opinion and one I would have taken had I known it would of took me...

Standard 140. Motorway 80mph+ has returned 54mpg for the last 12 months. Around town this drops to 46-48mpg.

Water in boot????? under spare wheel

Someone else had the same issue a while back. Not sure if it was the high level brake lights seal, the wiper feed leaking or the rear lights leaking. I'm still having water issues in my boot, but it collects in the actual tail gate. Is the water rain or washer water?

    Coilover installation guide (not mine)

Yes above. One tip I read was to drill a hole in the outer adjuster so you can adjust the height without removing the springs. The hole allows you to grip one half of the adjuster and then turn the other. Without the hole, both adjusters just spin.

    Coilover installation guide (not mine)

As far as adjusting goes, I found that removing the rear springs and adjuster and was pretty quick, instead of adjusting in situ. The fronts where easy to adjust with the wheels off and took no time at all.

    Coilover installation guide (not mine)

There are two sizes of spreader. Well, two came in the pack and the larger one helped. The first strut I did without and this needed a hammer. The second I did with the spreader and didn't need half the force. But my car is fairly old and the struts original so they where pretty corroded in there.
