Is there a way to connect Spotify or my music with using wires?

It sounds like maybe you are not in the correct Media setting. When you click into Media using the central control panel, there are actually many media sources. For example CD, bluetooth and sd card. Use the (iirc) button to the left of the MMI control spinner thing, to select the bluetooth...

    Retrofit Audi 8V Puddle Lights

I didn't use that adaptor on my 2015 facelift saloon. They still seem to clip into place as it's the middle bit that clips, so didn't matter how wide it was. The rear doors were a bit more of a struggle as the cable coming from the car was shorter tho.

What have you done to your 8V today?

Wife says she won't go out in my car in an evening now. Not sure why... [emoji13]

AMI Question for an Audi Newbie

That sounds like it's an issue with the music player in the phone? It should pick up and start playing whatever was last up when you opened the app? Having said that I've only ever used Spotify on android, jump in the car and it starts playing where it left off.

AMI Question for an Audi Newbie

Get the Sport! I had the '13 plate version in Sport trim. The SE one looks pretty simple (ugly) in comparison. Best bet is to hook the car up to your bluetooth, select a playlist and use the steering wheel button to skip tracks, or the centre console dial to flick back and forward between tracks.

    Front License Plate Delete

I saw someone in an A4 iirc recently, they had put the plate on the left hand side of the front of the car. It just looked weird.

It's time to let the S3, opinions please (don't be harsh though)

No sorry, the 1.6 tdi was sluggish. The 1.4 tfsi is extremely nippy in comparison.

Hours spent reading reviews, still no wax purchased

Just pick one! Sure the perfectionist has to pick the "best" one, but I'm sure most of the ones you mentioned are fantastic anyway? The "best" is going to subjective anyway.

My first Audi was a 1.6 TDI, replaced that with a 1.4 TFSI a couple of months ago. I wasn't expecting such a difference. So slugglish, even just moving away from lights. Never again.

It's the little things. If it was a bit cheaper it'd be a cool addition. Kind of like why we buy keyrings. Not everything is to everyone's tastes!

I love that key cover... But it seems pretty expensive for what it is? Where did you get it from?

Yeah mine came without in April. Just bought a pair of pressed embossed metal plates. Much nicer really add a lot for little cost. £14 on Amazon for mine iirc.
