It sounds like maybe you are not in the correct Media setting. When you click into Media using the central control panel, there are actually many media sources. For example CD, bluetooth and sd card.
Use the (iirc) button to the left of the MMI control spinner thing, to select the bluetooth...
I didn't use that adaptor on my 2015 facelift saloon. They still seem to clip into place as it's the middle bit that clips, so didn't matter how wide it was. The rear doors were a bit more of a struggle as the cable coming from the car was shorter tho.
That sounds like it's an issue with the music player in the phone? It should pick up and start playing whatever was last up when you opened the app?
Having said that I've only ever used Spotify on android, jump in the car and it starts playing where it left off.
Get the Sport! I had the '13 plate version in Sport trim. The SE one looks pretty simple (ugly) in comparison.
Best bet is to hook the car up to your bluetooth, select a playlist and use the steering wheel button to skip tracks, or the centre console dial to flick back and forward between tracks.
Just pick one! Sure the perfectionist has to pick the "best" one, but I'm sure most of the ones you mentioned are fantastic anyway? The "best" is going to subjective anyway.
My first Audi was a 1.6 TDI, replaced that with a 1.4 TFSI a couple of months ago.
I wasn't expecting such a difference. So slugglish, even just moving away from lights. Never again.
Yeah mine came without in April. Just bought a pair of pressed embossed metal plates. Much nicer really add a lot for little cost. £14 on Amazon for mine iirc.
