Hey sorry i aint been on here for a while had a lot on at work. But was driving my a4 the other day and it suddenly lost all drive. I think its either the gearbox and/or diff. Its a 1.8 non turbo avv engine and cant find a suitable gearbox for it. Does anyone know what gearboxes will fit it or...

Please help. My wipers keep activating and the only way to stop them is to pull the fuse out. Any ideas what would cause this problem and how to fix it. And how much its gonna cost Cheers Otg

Just a quivk question... ive got a 1.8 20v b5 and need to do front brakes. With the front calipers can you just push pistons back in ar do you have to wind them? Thanks in advance Otg

Got mine fixed by audi it turned out to be the immobilisor module had forgotten the key so just all needed reprogramming. So after an hour of diagnostics the recoding charge and paying for some idiot to tow it im down £200. But hay could have been much worse :) thanks to all those that helped

Tried both of them and still no joy :(

tried to use car today and key wont turn off immobilizer so car cuts out after a second or 2 and immobilsor light flashes on dashboard. what can i do to try and fix it or is it time for a trip to audi?:confused:

i saw a list a while ago (but cant remember where) that had more codes on than this. also i believe it had the instrument sweep code on it. does amyone have this 1?. thanks for the reply bradderz :)

So my car has decided it doesnt like having aircon anymore. It has seized the compressor and thrown the belt off removing a wire from the air con compressor. Any ideas where its supposed to go?

Ill give it a go tommorrow then and see how long they last this time lol

I dont know how but they just seem to die when they are in the boot

Ive destroyed a lot of amps in the boot in the past

wanted to avoid putting in boot if possible. spent all day wiring it all under the passenger seat went to put seat back in to find not enough clearence.
