I'm Still having issues with this.. I replaced the motor/actuator which in turn cleared the fault light only to come back on again with a different code P2015. After searching for some time it looks like it's another common fault of the actuator rotating to far back to its "home" position...
Hi I'm having a problems with the intake manifold on my 2.0tdi B8. I have fault "Intake Manifold Runner Control Circuit Low Bank 1" bringing the EML on. Done quite abit of searching and I'm not getting very far. I've removed the motor/actuator on the end of the manifold and opened and cleaned it...
Ye it's looking like the cable I've found plugs into the back of the glove box AMI unit which is missing and a cd holder is in its place :-/ time to find a unit!
Hi im trying to get my head around the AMi or the lack of it... I have the AMi option when i select media on the stereo (its greyed out) but i don't have the port anywhere in my car!? The car is a 2009 A4 avant s-line with 6 disc changer and B&O stereo. I have looked in glove box and arm rest...
Check my threads about loose propshaft bolts.. good easy place to start. Get a good torch and get underneath and down the back of the engine. Hope this helps.
The noise you can hear when youve switched the engine off is the after run pump... this is a good thing to hear as most are dieing of old age now. It runs for roughly 10 minutes after the engine is switched off to help cool the turbo. Sounds like its a good one!
There is a fan controller buried below the battery sumwhere. The fans are on plugs buried beneath the battery area.. try disconnecting and applying direct power and see if it will spin.
Yep I had exactly the same happen to me... my bigger fan was knackered.. the smaller being for ac and the larger being for cooling. Is the larger fan free to spin... no grinding or squeeling when spinning by hand?
