As the title says, which spark plugs would you all suggest for the 2.0T engine? I've read that copper ones may perform better, but not last as long. Anyone heard this before? Thanks in advance for any replies :icon_thumright:

Around 6,000 miles, and ill change it yearly. I've seen MANN filters pop up quite regularly during my google searches.

I've owned my car for nearly a year now, and time to give it a service. Which oil do you all suggest using? Im quite confused by the Audi spec numbers, the manual gives me 4 options?? Which oil and air filters brands do you use whilst im asking? Thanks in advance for any help :icon_thumright:

Ok so I've just taken a look at the wiring loom between the car and drivers door. There's a red wire which the outer has split, the wire itself seems intact (as far as I can tell anyway). However there's a brown wire that's completely broken, I can't find the other end of it yet. Is this earth?

No water in the passenger side footwell that i can see or feel. Running out of light now, so i'll take another look tomorrow. At least i can lock the car manually for now.

Thanks for the reply. I should add that none of the electric window controls are working. Only just thought to try the individual door controls.

It was raining pretty heavily earlier, and i noticed my key fob wasn't locking the drivers side door. All other doors were locking with the key fob, but the drivers door needed locking with the key. I thought it just needed to relearn the car, i've had that problem in the past when the battery...

Just had a strange one. On the way home from work the ESP symbol lit up on my dash, as if I'd turned it off. Pressing the ESP button made no difference. Once I turned off the engine, and turned the ignition again it was fine. Any ideas what I did there?

The lights come on, but the cars running fine as far as i can tell. Is it worth getting a fault code reader. or just take it to a garage to scan? Im pretty sure the thermostat needs replacing, but im worried it might be something else that im not noticing.

Just running the gears through 4th, 3rd , 2nd and then 1st it slips it great. But often from startup 1st gear feels like ill break something if i try and force it. I wasn't sure if the issue with the thermostat could be linked with the gear changes still being stiff from standstill during a drive?
