Take it back and get a refund for the car on that basis that its not got the features as advertised.......... Run away from a tdi 170 and treat it like a lucky escape from future money pit. Lovely looking car though.

I have heard of people getting the timing adjusted but its not what audis settings say it needs to be or something. Good luck if its a success.

Mine occasionaly does this although getting worse, as much as I love the car im seriously thinking of just trading it in for newer and less hassle as its one thing after another on these engines

Was only the 170s that had dpfs on B7 I believe, my piece of cack 170 has one ggrrrr, if I keep the car it shall be going to unit 9 for removal
