    It turns out the problem with the non starting was a broken retaining clip on the cable to the starter motor.

    Had battery and alt checked all fine.Had car scanned crankshaft sensor fault had that changed.

    Pls help bought a3 2.0 fsi 2004 reg about 4 months ago .All fine for couple of months then started playing up on warm start ,cold start fine .Got so bad RAC called to recover me to local garage ,scanned car said it was crankshaft sensor so got that changed all good for week then problem came...
