Hi NHN, thanks for that. both the new wheel and the old wheel have the studs next to the airbag securing bolts, they look identical. I will try to upload photos but having iPhone issues!

Hi, i am looking at retrofitting a MFSW to a 2006 Audi A3 but am aware that the there are two different type 3 spoke MFSW and only certain airbags will fit. May be a stupid question but how can you tell the difference between the steering wheels if the look almost identical?
