    Hi, Got a problem with my b5 1.9 tdi quattro avant. When starting up it goes to 4500 rpm and doesnt go down. at first I thought it was a turbo problem but it cuts off when I turn the key off. anyone had this problem and if so what was the fault? Any recommendations appreciated

    thinking back.... I think i deleted all error codes with the heater and fog lights disconnected... can this cause the problem??

    Got a slight problem with my 1999 B5. For a while car was not talking to computer so had stripped the center console trying to fix the problem. Ended up just being a blown fuse !!! When i did get it talking i did not have the heater or the fog lights connected and when i re-connected...
