Hi all,
I wanted to confirm if some side mirrors I bought are auto dimming as well. I was under the impression if the mirrors were power folding they would automatically be heated and auto dimming as long as you already had the auto dimming rear view mirror but after checking the internet and...
Thanks for the reply Ash. I will have the BBS Speedline Split rims 18s. From what I have read the sline suspension is already lowered 10mm. The B12 kit should lower the car a further 20-25mm I believe?
Hi Damien, thanks for the response. So by 'refined' you mean the ride on the B12 kit is not as firm as the S-Line? It is the only reason why I want rid of the s-line suspension, lowering it is a small added bonus.
Hi All,
I just wanted to know if anyone swapped their s-line suspension (not sport) over to the Bilstein B12 Pro Kit? Is the ride softer and more forgiving now. Has the handling improved? After owning a 3.2 v6 s-line for a month I really need to change the suspension its awful, just sooo hard lol.
Thanks for the help Lukey. I am gonna get this grill: http://www.stokeaudi-parts.co.uk/products/Audi-A3-S%252dLine-Black-Radiator-Grill-%282005%252d2008%29.html. If I manage to get a chrome surround and not have to plastidip or paint the new black surround I will let you know so you have first...
Thanks for the confirmation Lukey! So I take it there is a matt black grill with a chrome surround that will fit a 56 plate s-line? You don't happen to know the correct part number by any chance lol?
Hi all, I am looking for an OEM gloss black grill with chrome surround to fit a 56 plate A3 s-line without having to do any modifications. I had a look at the sticky parts thread but there des not seem to be one for my car. Can anyone confirm this? If I am wrong what is the part number?
Cheers!
Hi all,
Had a good search and I am sure the answer is on here somewhere but I just cant find it. Can anyone confirm that if an A3 57 plate 170BHP car has the engine number start with "BMN" that it is definitely a PD engine?
Walts do you know what compounds, waxes or cutting agents they used to get the inserts looking like new? All mine need doing but want to try and do it myself!
I have used Waranty Direct before. They do honour claims but the claims process is a PITA. Also due to the age and milage of your car you might find that the excess is a lot if you do need to claim. Read the small print as you will definitely not be fully covered.
From what I have read if you dont need to buy anything to have the car in permanent FWD. You just need to remove a fuse. I'm sure someone will correct me if I am wrong...
