    Shaky engine mounts.

    The engine doesn't run rough. It's like a sewing machine to be honest. A code read has revealed that the engine mounts at fault. And the purple/brown liquid running from the bottom of the mounts confirms this.

    When removing a caliper you will 90% of the time need to bleed the other 3 anyway, unless your lucky enough to get away with just the one you changed. Personally I would strip the sliders and see if they are seized, clean up, grease up and rebuild, ease the rubber boot on the caliper piston back...

    I know that some of the vws have a toggle type switch to adjust for driving on the wromg side but unfortunately I dont think it's something our cars are equipped with, pretty sure its a case of some stick on reflectors to adjust the beam pattern

    I had the air con on my 2005 avant sorted last year, cost me about 220 quid for compressor and pressure sensor. my dad managed to get me the compressor for trade price and gassed it for me foc. Audi had previously quoted 700quid for the same job.
