Hi guys, I have a 2004 A3 BKD and every few weeks I have to top up the coolant. Can't see any obvious leaks, no oil in coolant or coolant in oil. Any ideas? Car has done 160k, I don't have any history on it but I don't think rhe head gasket will have been replaced. Dave

Yea hard to diagnose from crappy phone videos! There is some play in the steering side to side, could this indicate the rack and pinion is worn?

Yea the blower still works, and was blowing out luke warm air after a 14 mile commute. The air is usually red jot after a few miles. When i popped the hood the engine just felt at its normal operating temp. There is coolant in the tank, but i forgot to see if it was swirling

Hey Tuffty, the only faults codes were, Maf input too low P0102 16486, and Lat Acc sensor g200. On the readiness test it failed on the cat, sec air, and evap. Didn,t say why it failed tho. Dave

Hi guys, I did an emissions readiness test on my AUM today, it says its failing on the Evap system. What is the most common fault on these is it a faulty/blocked valve or a blocked canister? Also where is the best place to buy these parts from in case I cant fix them myself. Cheers Dave
