Hello again thread. Well my roof doesn't open again! It starts to open and then stops. Ive cleaned the brushes (not used a Stanley blade to clean between strips) and prised the springs open a bit. The roof works but then stops a day or so later. This is the current Vag Com error. Any ideas...

Hello all. I need a new front sensor for my Audi S4 Cab and cant afford it at the moment. Is there any way in Vag Com i can disable the front sensors so i can at least use the rear ones for the time being? Thanks all Warren

All sorted. Audi said that they had to replace a controller - i'm waiting for the paperwork as to what that was but the error is fixed, the car is safe and i have a new MOT. They had the car for 3 days but got it sorted.

If i put the car in reverse (engine off) and listen to the sensors, the front mid left sensor is silent. I get a solid beep in the car which i guess indicates theres an issue but every now and then it works. My question is do i just buy and fit a new sensor or is it worth checking any wiring...
