The cheapest looking thing in the car I find is the silver coloured plastic around the instrument cluster and satnav screen. God knows what they were thinking when they decided on that. And not even the option to change it to black or some other material. Guess it will take some getting used...
The lease company informed me that they spoke to the Audi dealer today and expect to take delivery of my A4 Avant 2.0 TDi in the middle of July. I'll be happy to have a few of the summer weeks driving it :D
1.5 months waiting time for your A4 Avant? Are you sure? I was told the other day that there is a 7 month wait on all A4s. I've ordered my A4 Avant 2.0TDi through a leasing company. Final price is roughly 33,500 (26800 GBP)
7 months waiting time for an A4 over here. 2009 if you want a parking system.
If you want an A5 you'll wait 10 months.
I'm cheesed off with this now. Was hoping to have an A4 Avant before Christmas LOL
My lease company has just informed me that there will be a 2 year delay (hope that it's a mistake) for anybody that has specified the APS system on their A4. The Luxembourg website seems to confirm this somewhat as they are now offering the comfort pack without the APS included at a reduced...

Such a new car and saying that it's so great already. Is it an award based on looks alone? It must be. Nobody has driven it long enough to say it deserves an award already. Perhaps I'm missing something.
Seeing as the new A4 comes with the 6.5" colour screen as standard when you take the Concert radio or better, does anyone know if there are any satnav devices that could be connected to the system and be displayed on the screen so as not to have a TomTom or such suckered to the windscreen?
There are internal and external S-Line packages apparently.

I took these ones off autoscout24.lu (Luxembourg) but I've sat into a similar white A4 S-Line model in one of my local dealers. The pics are definitely an S-Line model as you can see the S-Line badge on the steering wheel.
Link to the dealer selling it...
What were you quoted?
I got my quote for an A4 Avant with options for 4 years and 25,000km per year with tyres, servicing, tax and insurance included. Came in at 678 ex VAT per month. I currently pay 625 ex VAT for my A3 Sportback S-Line. I thought the price is OK, but I'm still haggling with...
Don't go by the pics on the configurator. The car looks much better in real life. They have a white S-Line in one of the dealers here. Looks great. No pics though. Sorry.
Does anyone have pics of the standard climate control? I've only seen cars and pics with the 3 zone version which made me take this option so as not to be surprised by an even uglier piece of kit in the dash. I really don't like the way they have the red and blue marks. Much prefer the plus and...
Took the 2.0 TDi for a test drive yesterday. The handling was great and it had the sport suspension also. No real understeer from it. The engine has a nice sound. Much more refined than my 2.0 TDi Sportback. And soundproofing is better too but that's to be expected. The gear box felt a bit...
Hoping for this to be my next lease car. Can't quite manage anything other than the 2.0 TDi engine on my budget so it will have to do.
I'm finding it difficult to get my options selected.
I have the following so far:
Leather pack: Milano leather, heated front seats, 4 spoke...
Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May take a continental road trip in their favourite supercars - the Ford GT, Ferrari F430 and Pagani Zonda. There's also a culture clash when the Austin Healey Sprite and Peugeot 306 go head to head, and the Focus ST is put through its paces on the track.
