Have just disconnected the cluster and reconnected which has now removed the Immobiliser symbol however my battery is dead. But once up and running hopefully problem solved. Strange really.

Tried lastnight leaving the Key in for what felt like a minute but no joy. Hazards don't kick in now on connection of the cluster but I did turn the lights on and only the passenger main beam comes on. Still the battery symbol comes on. Does this mean the battery is knackered?

Thanks Voorhees That would explain the pinging sound. Is this fairly important to reattach or could be lived without as don't really fancy unbolting the seat again and the seat functions seems to be all good. Simon
