Whenever my S3 S Tronic goes down from 2nd to 1st gear the car stutters forward, is this normal? It happens in other gears , but is most noticeable from 2nd to 1st, particularly in sport mode. Any help much appreciated.

Just heard from my dealer that my car has been built and is on the transporter to the port. Not long now!

My dealer has told me that if I change my options that my build week could be pushed back by months. I want to upgrade from *** to B&O, but don't want to have to wait another 2 months. Is there a way of confirming what would happen to my build dare before I change spec?

I am going to let my dealer prep the car, however, I will warn them that the paint work should not have any swirl marks on collection. I would be worried that if I took it un prepped and noticed any real issues after driving it home that it would be more difficult to make a successful...

McNallys have you already ordered the car? If so I would be interested to know if your changes to the order push your build date back significantly. The reason that I ask is that my dealer said that they had just changed the spec of an S3 and it got pushed back by three months.

Just had an update from my dealer build week is now 38 down from 39. I am not going to amend spec upwards as have been advised that this will change my build week significantly. According to my sales manger they have just put through an S3 change and the build week got moved back by months...

How long before the build date does your order specification lock so that it cannot be changed?

I have interior lighting pack, I think it's a must. I am unsure about privacy glass, just feel like I am ordering something to pass the time. What colour have you gone for Donny?

I have Audi Sound ordered , which is good value at 250, but for an extra 500 I can have 750 watts. The reason to opt for non smoking is the cigerette lighter socket it not as highly rated as the 12v socket, confirmed in the manual.

The wait is starting to hurt, although it's only been three weeks. I am thinking of changing spec, but am trying to resist. The B&O is really tempting, I might switch to non smoker and order the ashtray seperately and add the privacy glass. Although 800 quid is 800 quid, what do you think?

The colour is Velvet Purple. It is sold now and not to me. I ended up going for a factory order in the end with a lot less spec.
