I had this Problem with our old R34 Skyline, was being taxed over £400 a year for it, eventually after a lot of time and phone calls it came down to about £260 a year

I've phoned 5 or 6 different companies all tell me something different, some say they fit some say they don't now they are not sure if the 8.5J et 40 will clear the front calipers!! Aaarrrgghhh

It won't be as economical as the weasel over 300 miles but you would get good returns on the fuel at sensible speeds, and the drive would be smoother and probably more fun :-) It just comes down to what you prefer, a few pounds in your back pocket or the enjoyment of the car on your daily commute.
