Got asked by a mate if i could do anything with a scratch he got along the whole of the passenger side of his Subaru....had a look and said i could sort it but would be better off having the whole car done as where i remove it will stick out like a sore thumb.
So i took delivery of it and...
Well after selling the Bentleys off the A4 Avant i was thinking of selling the car.....however i have now just bought these so looks like im keeping her for a bit....
Good deep dish on them,19" X 8.5j ET35...................most of the others are ET43/52 which i wouldnt of even bothered...
I was looking for a set os RS4 rims but I have found a set of 19" 8.5j ET35 Rotars....... Just wondered if anyone knows of a pic of an Avant with these on???
After selling the Bentley rims im now looking for a set of GENUINE B7 RS4 Rims, The ones with the offset of ET29......
If anyone hears of a set, give me a shout.....Cheers peeps
Trying to put my wheels up for sale but there doesnt seem to be a section for them.....(First time i have really looked at the classified sections on here).......And how much hard work are the ones we do have!!!!
As title, thinking of changing the Bentleys for genuine, big dished RS4 rims.... i think the Offset on these are ET29 on a 9" rim....19"
Will they go on ok without have the big RS4 Arches to tuck them into?????
Also has anyone got them on???
Got a set of Bentleys a few weeks ago and though the contrast from my Black A4 Avant and silver colored wheels was a little to much....so i sent them to be done Anthericite so they blended a little
Before
After.....Just got to seal them up with Poorboys Wheels sealent and i will get them...
Always fanced a set of Bentleys on the Audi, always liked the look on the VW/Audis ect.....
Mine is lowered on Eibach 50/40 Sportlines and as its my everyday/family car i cant be having it stupidly low....but i think they look spot on.
Looking at getting some Merc rims with the following spec-
8.5x19 ET35 Fronts and 9.5x19 ET35 Rears
Just wondering if anyone has fitted these size wheels........My Car is lowered on Eibach 50/40 so being an S-Line its 20mm lower on the rear and 30mm lower on the front
Looking at getting some new wheels for the car and was wondering whats the widest tyres that can go on an Avant thats been lowered on eibachs ?
I have spotted a set of 8.5 x 19" fronts and 9.5x19" rears ET35.................what tyre sizes would best suit these
A good mate of mine has owned this car for the last 6 years and he does many motorway miles a month hence the milage of 155,000miles.
Mechanically it is perfect but being on the go all the time, it only ever got washed by our friends the Pols!!!!!!.......Hence the VERY damaged paintwork.
So he...
I have the twin rear pipes, one either side like an S4 but as its the diesel the shoot downwards..
HAs anyone retro fitted tail pipes from different models ect to give it a better look and to fill the hole in the valence
As its been too hot all day to clean the car ive just finished giving it a little clean....(Just needed to put the tyre shine on).
I fully detailed it a few months ago so its pretty easy to wash/clean now as all the hard work is done.
At the time it was fully Clayed, Paint corrected with Megs...
OK, this is me being a little OCD BUT.........
The load cover on my Avant seems to sit in place for a day or so, then all of a sudden i will here it whizz back to its retracted position while driving along.......I like it to be covering the boot.......
BUT
This is the OCD thing kicking...
Im after the covers that cover the battery area at the top of this picture...where have people got theres from and what do i need.
All i have is the one on the right hand side
The last few times i have washed my car and started it the Glow plug light will flash along with the Traction Control light being on.This will also revert the car to limp mode.....
If i turn the car off and back on...after a few times this stops flashing and all is ok.
Seems to be since i put...
