Glow plug light flashing? Taking it to specialist this wk and its booked in for a full service there next week. Had trouble starting with a puff if smoke on start up. Hope it's just glow plugs. Also asked them to check cams whilst they have it. Paranoid after reading about ake engines on here...

Unbelievable! cant seem to find the locking nut! anyone know which type they are? my sister has boiught my old a4 avant 03 so i have borrowed the locking nut from her to see if it will fit - doesnt seem to! in fact, there is one nut thats hollow but cant tell what goes in it? does anyone know...

got 225 45 17 on at moment - had 235's on my other quattro - shall i change or stick with 225? is there relaly a difference? i have read some other threads about flex, etc, but the 235's look to give more rim protection? the 225's are more direct though so are my preferred choice
