The clicking noise I have is a real 'sharp' noise, and happens when using a small amount of gas too. So I could be crawling with only a tiny press of the accellerator, but as soon as I lift off I get the click everytime. Its hard to tell but sounds like coming from the front of the car...
Thanks for the info... this all sounds very expensive... the car has only done 24k but I suppose this counts for nothing.
Is it common for water pump cambelt to require changing at such low a mileage? I'll need to get my local specialist to check it out I suppose...
Hi Guys,
It's been a good few years but I'm now back in an Audi.... bought myself an '07 Sprint Blue S3 with 24k miles and a nice few extras....
I'm happy with the car so far but I have a few wee niggles that I hope you guys can help with.
1) When I lift off the throttle I hear a 'click'...

If you have a garage to put the car in at night I wouldn't bother, the hood is nice and warm anyway!
Ha ha some interesting views in this thread!!!
I'm sure the TTS will be a good car, but the engine is in the wrong place and it will never sound like that Porsche flat-6 :)
The Cayman was originally what I wanted, but I could not really justify around 8k extra over the Bosxter (on the used...

I've also got some Testking exam questions - these are essential reading before sitting the exam. Some of the questions you get in the exam you'll...
I've found auto wipers are **** and unpredictable, no matter what car they are on. I much prefer to operate them manually - I don't like leaving something that important to a function that never works the instant you need it most. Try some rain-X, then you'll never need to use the wipers again...
